Bjorn Oldsen is a photographer who definitely prescribes to the notion that less is more. Any why shouldn't he? Using a nearly flawless technique, Bjorn manages to bring about a collection of nudes that are both thrilling and sensual all rolled into one.
Making a living in the realm of industrial and advertising photography, Bjorn started photographing the nude with the help of his wife Karin nearly twenty years ago. After raising three children they still work as a team on a regular basis, often producing some of his best work. I had a chance to ask Bjorn a few questions which he was delighted to answer for me.
When did you first get started with photography? What is it about shooting nudes that you find appealing? How is it different from shooting landscapes for example?
