In the fast paced age of digital photography, desktop publishing, and digital darkrooms, it is rare now days to find a photographer who works with traditional materials and methods. Raymond Erbs is one such soul and the extra time and care he puts into his work is clear when one looks at the results.
A 'purist' in every sense, Raymond Erbs likes to keep his work simple. After all, the nude is a beautiful subject all in itself and doesn't need complicated setups, lighting schemes, or props to make it standout among the other artistic genres. Raymond Erbs understands this better then most and his love for the natural qualities of the human body is one of the principle themes in his work.
What initially attracted you to working with the nude?
