Growing up in the bible belt of America, Daniel Love was always surrounded by a certain level of modesty when it came to the treatment of the human body and its nudity. However, starting as early as grade school he began to sketch the female form and discovered an inner love for the subject.
In 1997 Daniel Love graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing and began work in the critical care unit of a local hospital. Having received a Canon Rebel X for graduation that same year he began playing around with general photography. It wasn’t until he moved to St. Louis several years later that he enrolled in his first college course to learn the basics of the instrument that would be his artistic brush for years to come.
To this day, Daniel Love continues to be intrigued and fascinated by the female form. Age has not tempered his curiosity for a form that is at once unique to the individual while also archetypal to humanity.
