America awoke sexually in 1948 when Alfred Kinsey published "Sexual Behaviour in the Human Male."

Time magazine somewhat inappropriately described this seminal work as the biggest thing since 'Gone With The Wind,' the movie that had swept the world, as well as the Oscars, 12 years earlier creating a religious furore thanks to Rhett Butler's withering last line: "Quite Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn."
