Olympus has announced yet another digital SLR to go with their unique four thirds lens mount system, the E-500 (or 'Evolt' in the United States). Taking on a more traditional design from other recent SLR's from Olympus, the E-500 is aimed at the professional mid range market and should provide some healthy competition for powerhouses like Canon, Nikon, and Konica Minolta.
