Apple has today announced Aperture, a new digital photography workflow, organization and manipulation application aimed specifically at professional photographers. Aperture includes advanced RAW workflow, a unique user interface and an interesting feature called Stacks which groups images together based on the time differential between shots. This marks a bold move by Apple to gain an even stronger foothold among graphics professionals. Currently the software is prices at $499.00 and will be shipping in six to eight weeks.
