Pentax users are no doubt weeping with joy. Perhaps the first Pentax D-SLR to be a major contender with the ‘big names’ the K10D was announced today with an impressive feature set (on paper anyway) that includes a weather sealed body, anti-dust system, anti-shake system, '22 bit' analog to digital converter, and an impressive line-up of new and old Pentax lenses. The K10D also provides both Pentax PEF and DNG RAW format options.
All of this will be available with a price tag under $1,000.
