Jacek Pomykalski was born in 1971 and graduated from the Jagiellonian University of Krakow in Poland with a Masters Degree in Japanese Language and Culture. He has an extreme love for photography, especially the nude, which he considers to be the most difficult form of portraiture. For Pomykalski, nude portraiture reaches a level of sincerity rarely seen in more commercial ventures.
Jacek Pomykalski loves the challenge and demanding nature of working within the genre of the nude. Like so many other photographers who work with live models he tries to focus on the qualities of each of his subjects that make them unique. He is a man who understands the infinite variety and beauty inherent in the human body, and it is up to his photographic eye to help us see it too.
