Bill Hudson currently resides in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Deep down he considers himself a portrait photographer but readily admits to offering something a little more personal and sensual then the typical shot you'd find in a department store studio.

In the year 1987 Bill Hudson began his photographic career when he bought his first 35mm SLR. His prime subjects where landscapes and abstracts in the Arizona wilderness. In less then two years he won his first award in a local art competition and by the year 2000 he had won over two dozen awards in local art shows.

Early on, Bill Hudson found photography to be the source of his personal expression; capturing in images the emotions he hadn't yet learned to put words to. For years he ran around the countryside of Arizona and North Carolina, looking for things to photograph and never knew what it was he was looking for, but he knew he was on to something.
