While working towards his degree in Computer Science, Anthony Gordon took a summer course in photography that would develop into a lifetime passion.
From the moment he developed that first black and white print, he knew that he had found his calling. As he photographed the beautiful architecture of the city of Ottawa, Anthony felt that his images were a little empty and lifeless. And so his quest to add life and fill his images began. He dabbled in portraiture and fashion, often using that same architecture as a backdrop for his images, in an attempt to realize his vision.
As he shot the occasional nude, he found himself fascinated by how light plays with skin, how the female form rises and slopes so elegantly, how one can capture the soul through photography once all barriers are removed. He found himself able to think and create more on an artistic level than any ever before.
