Sergey Belov was born in 1976 in a very small city named Osa in southern Russia. He still lives there today, working in a small studio where he creates his visual masterpieces.
A virtuoso with both traditional film and the art of photo manipulation, Sergey Belov began working with the camera in high school, moved on to artistic nudes after five years, and then finally to photo manipulations seven years after falling in love with photography. These days he has combined what he has learned as a traditional craftsman, and further refines his work by adding a digital component as well.
Sergey Belov’s work is a perfect blend of both beauty, and a dangerous form of dark seduction. It is a genuine love for all that is unusual, produced with a refined and serious eye.
