Hot Rod Pin-ups David Perry Take a voluptuous young vixen, a healthy dose of tattoos, and a screaming hot rod and you can probably get a pretty good idea as to what you’ll find in the work of David Perry. A true rockabilly master, David Perry reminds us that men often have the same affection towards their machines as they do their women.
This isn’t to say that men only think of women as ‘things’ but more in the sense that both parties are held to an almost holy reverence. When you bring them together it’s almost difficult not to get the jitters. The work found in Hot Rod Pin-ups has been the main visual focus of custom car magazines for decades, but David Perry shows his work with such an affectionate love for both cars and women (probably in that order) that we can’t help but be pleased with the results.
