About being personalWe are entering a new era in erotic photography, a time I call THE NEW NUDE. The glossy, staged and artificial erotic images of the past are vanishing into history and will be replaced by a more sensual, intimate photographic style with its roots in real people, living real lives, showing real feelings. FOR ME, photography is about being personal, and nothing is more personal than the photographic nude. The extreme intimacy it portrays, combined with its direct and naturalistic form of communicating, is unsurpassed in the world of art.
Photography is constantly changing as a means of expression. In the last two decades, few art forms have affected people as emotionally and intellectually as photography. The image of the naked body is one of the most sought after subjects for a photographer, and it seems unlikely that it will ever stop pleasing or provoking its audience.
While the photographic craft will always be abused by the disreputable, it is my intention that The New Nude will bring its readers the very best in new eroticism and will pay genuine atribute to the qualities of female beauty, aesthetics, honesty and passion.
The process of conceiving and creating this magazine has been an exhilarating journey. After displaying my vision primarily by Internet on Hegre-Archives.com, it has been a long but rewarding process to go once more through the tens of thousands of images and select the most vibrant and stimulating photographs to present here.
I would like to express my love and appreciation to my wife, Luba. Inside you will find many pages featuring Luba, and you will also see her own portfolio as a photographer capturing informal shots of
her naked friends on page 128. Thank you, my love!
May our efforts please you, provoke you, and in many ways emotionally affect you. Have a new nude spring!
